OUR MATERIALS ARE OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 CERTIFIED.
OEKO-Tex is the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification is the leading global ecological label for textile products. These products have been tested and certified by internationally recognised institutes. Moreover, this certification is a guarantee to the consumer that the textile products are free of substances which are harmful to the health.
Oeko-Tex groups the products in 4 classes in accordance with the degree of contact with the skin:
CLASS I: All articles, raw materials and accessories in direct contact with the skin of babies up to 36 months of age.
CLASS II: When a significant surface of the textile lining is in contact with the skin (e.g: shirts, underwear).
CLASS III: When there is no or little contact with the skin (e.g. scarves, jerseys).
CLASS IV: For all decorative articles and materials (e.g: tablecloths, curtains, floors and mattresses).
In accordance with Oeko-tex Standard 100 all mattresses fall under CLASS IV, however only mattresses conforming to Class I can be in direct contact with the skin of babies from 0 to 36 months of age.
